The following material is a synopsis of a theory and interpretation of the human condition as considered inherent to the material world.

The theory begins with the problem of the Absent Determinant, which is the absence of any known and certain authority, which authorizes, determines, mandates and certifies, what the absolute nature and dynamic of reality should be; and which would represent a standard and model to which human activity, behavior and conduct should correspond and conform. Thus there is no ability to determine what anything natural is, what it is for, what is its value and consequence, and how it may be used. The Absent Determinant is the essence of Volition, meaning without absolute legitimacy and corresponding prohibitions, anything that can be rationalized is permissible.

Determination represents the evaluation of any state, quality, condition or entity, in terms of a definition which would indicate what it is, how it should be treated, what or what not it can be used for, and whether or not it can be transformed or destroyed.

There are considered to be two basic states: as before and after change. The Comparative Determinant is the evaluation, in terms of Consequence of Being, of pre-existent states compared to tandem states changed; in which the value of the pre-existent state is either: greater and prohibits or limits, or is lesser and allows or promotes, transformation or destruction, for alternative or changed qualities & conditions.

The value and consequence of the qualities & conditions of any given phenomenon, entity or event, as a pre-existent state, are determined by comparison to the results & products of a future state, which may replace and require the transformation of destruction of the pre-existent state or condition.

The means most generally used to determine what is and is not of Consequence, is called Finite Determination: which is the designation of affects or the creation of results and products, as changed states or objectives; which explain the reason, purpose, value and consequence of any state or entity, and which explain the activity and behavior of change. Thus the production and product of paper explains the existence of and gives value to the forest and also condones clear cutting.

Finite Determination essentially results in a dicotomy of Consequence called the Bipolar Divergence. There are said to be two basic states, or the state that pre-exists change and the state that follows change. Change that promotes or continues the pre-existent state in a same or similar manner is called Conservative, and which would include all natural change. Change which creates a new state, that promotes the absence of the pre-existent state is called Progressive. All Progressive change is said to be the product of human conception.

From the Bipolar Divergence is derived two archetypes, or Progressive Materialism and Conservative Spirituality, this latter discussed further on.

The negation of the validity and consequence of any state or entity, by virtue of the designations as undeveloped, unfinished or incomplete. Negation by virtue of what is said to be without any known and certain end or objective, that explains an entities existence. Allows for the unfettered use of the natural world, to include humankind, as material for the creation of human created states.

Following from Finite Determination, which legitimizes changed states and negates the consequence of the pre-existent states changed, is Bipolar Consequence or duality. All new and progressed states must be created from pre-existing states, which must be transformed or destroyed. Thus two conditions of value and consequence are created: as superior and inferior, primitive and progressed, undeveloped and developed, or crude and refined, of no consequence and consequence.

The Interpretive Context of Progressive Materialism: is a context in which the world is perceived, and wherein entities comprising results & products as increased and progressed value and consequence; explain reason, purpose and meaning, and defines what and what is not of consequence and worthy of note. This perspective, where most identity, definition and context is deemed as singular, definitive and isolated from larger wholes, is termed Mundane Consciousness.

From the Absent Determinant, Consequential Negation and the resulting duality of consequence, a means of evaluation is inherent in the dichotomy, that is termed the Dyadic Authoritative Comparative. This is a hierarchal, numerical system, based upon the comparison between opposites poles, or progressive Ideal and anti-ideal or Antithetical Matrix.

All consequence is determined by adding from Anti-ideal, as essentially anything that is considered natural, undeveloped, primitive, inferior or unrefined, or subtracting from ideal, which is anything considered as developed, refined, perfected, educated or superior. This graduated system determines value and worth, and thus treatment of any given entity both inanimate and animate. From one to ten, the value of the used car is something between brand new and the junker.

Because everything material, including humankind, is considered natural, born primitive and undeveloped, a means is necessary to obtain worth and consequence. This means is Excess and Profit. The results & products of activity & behavior in excess of what is necessary, represents addition and increase as profit, defined as Volitional Abilities, in excess of the energy, effort, time or risk, necessary to sustain and maintain the qualities & conditions of a standard of living, in a same or similar condition. Because only humans are capable of the progression of Excess and Profit, only humans are considered of worth, independent of consequence as legitimized by Emotion.

The worth and consequence of the human individual is assessed, in the system of Progressive Materialism, generally in either of two ways: or as secular and religious, both of which utilize Excess and Profit as a means to obtain worth. Religious Materialism utilizes non-material assets as the means to worth and consequence. Religious Materialism defines spiritual qualities and conditions by the absence of the attributes of earthly existence, or what is considered perfect being which is realized by progressive achievement, in which time on earth is essentially considered material and resource for upward mobility or progressed perfection.

The secular means to achieving consequence is by the vehicle of retaining or gaining material possessions and assets. Because of Consequential Negation, which negates all inherent value and consequence of anything undeveloped, which then may be transformed, destroyed or utilized as a means to obtain Excess and Profit, there is an absence of absolute prohibitions. The absence of absolute prohibitions on the transformation or destruction of any state or entity, as an inherent condition of existence, means that anything can be used as material for the creation of Excess and Profit, to include humankind as labor. Thus there becomes the necessity to control greed, violence and destruction. This is done by means of systems of Morality, where any given entity to include humans, are assigned worth by the system of the Dyadic Authoritative Comparative, and thus things are treated in accordance to their developmental worth.

Emotion is defined as physical reaction or response, of the Human Sensory Apparatus to sensual stimulation, as present experience or thinking, or both the physical world and the memory, wherein the response is affected by and relative to Associations which contain Consequential Value significant to the individual. Emotion is characterized as two types, based upon the division of Consequential Value into Unified Consequence and Bipolar Consequence.

The Dyadic Authoritative Comparative, as the means of evaluative consequence, also is used to determine the worth and consequence of the individual and organization, which equates to the social class system, as discussed by the concept of the Antipodal Associative Paradigm. The Anti-ideal takes the form of what is called the Untouchable Class and the Ideal is what is called the Upper Class. The class of the individual is determined by adding from the Anti-ideal and subtracting from the Ideal, where these poles as elite and common, may vary from one institution or culture to another. The Untouchable Class in Japan for instance is composed primarily of those that work with animal products and Koreans, whereas in American it is primarily based on race.

Inherent in the construct of the Dyadic Authoritative Comparative are two means of determining the worth of the individual in terms of addition and subtraction. What is called Conservative, but in reality is Pseudo-conservative, has the propensity to establish consequence by identifying with and subtracting from the progressive Ideal or the elite. What is called the Liberal or Progressive, is the propensity to identify with and define consequence by adding from the Aniti-ideal or the commons.

Existent Determination is the Conservative determinant, that all natural change promotes the preservation of the pre-existent state changed, in a same or similar state and condition. The results and products of change do not alter the original condition but promote its preservation. The reason, purpose, meaning and context of pre-existent states, as any given natural condition of nature, are explained by what they manifest themselves to be and already are. This condition produces and preseves the environment for all planetary life.

Defines the consequence of the results & products of the natural change of the Given Existence, as equivalent to the tandem pre-existent state transformed or destroyed; wherein the change is equivalent to the promotion of the preservation of the former tandem state changed, in identical or near like form.

The Conservative interpretation of the concept of Finite Determination, wherein the designation of affects or the creation of results and products as changed states or objectives, explains reason, purpose, value and consequence. This means that the results & products of any natural state or entity is the promotion and replication of an already existing finished form, both as itself and the greater environment which supports it. The Conservative Assessment means that the natural world and planet is considered to be an already complete and finished result and product. All natural states and entities are explained by the activity & behavior of what they already are.

The Consequential Value of the results & products, of the natural change of the Given Existence, are considered as equivalent to the tandem pre-existent state transformed or destroyed, which is considered as an equality of value and consequence. The consequence of any given single entity is considered to be equivalent to the whole of existence, and wherein the whole is dependent upon each of its parts, the value of all things is said to be equivalent and unified in the whole.

Consequence is unified in the One, as instance the experience of Enlightenment. This oneness may be said to consist in commonalities to all, which might include such as spirit, love or animal nature. If there is no result and product of change, as distinct or superior in dynamic to the natural world, and no comparative worlds in which to evaluate the known physical world, then all determination and evaluation must be from within itself, as the parts of the whole. Olamic Value is the consequential determination that the parts, as all physical individuality, are singular and individual, but unified as a single whole, generally conceived of as spirit. The value and consequence of any given living entity specifically, then possesses a two-fold perspective, as its material part and its whole spiritual nature. The role as a part is the contribution of the individual entity, to the make-up of the physical world. The role as a whole could be said to be that the individual entity, at least living elements, may contain spiritual properties, which when manifested in the physical level, may be symbolic of spirit, or symbolic of non-physical properties and conditions called spirit or spiritual world. Since the dynamic of the whole is unknown, value and consequence may be considered singular but not definitive, but rather Olamic or open, like a wild card, and entities and conditions can assume any role as the symbolism of spirit. Thus any physical entity can represent a symbolic manifestation or communication, of or with the spiritual world called Semiotic Language.

Conservative Spirituality is the dynamic of the Conservative archetype or paradigm, where the pre-existent natural state is considered of greater consequence than any human creations that can be conceived to replace it. The volitional characteristic is prohibitive, since the Consequence of the natural world is considered a spiritual state and being. Historically, before progressive conceptual Ideal, Conservative Spirituality is the archetype of so-called indigenous and pagan peoples, or those predating or independent of the ambition of Excess and Profit, industrialization and progressive Ideal. The authority for Conservative Spirituality is the empirical world. Thus the individual is defined by the exterior world and a relationship with it. Unlike Progressive Materialism, where Ideal is always progressive, Ideal in terms of Conservative Spirituality is Conservative, and usually takes the form of the natural world itself, spiritual manifestations or unseen and invisible forces. The Ideal and the empirical world are often not distinct, but equivalent and unified.

Since all natural change seems to promote the continuation of pre-existent states changed, in a same or similar manner, the premise of the Conservative Assessment is that the whole of the Given Existence is a complete and finished product, which possesses a Consequential Integrity, such that human enabled transformation or destruction, for alternative qualities, states or conditions is prohibited or limited. And thus nature is the authority for human activity and behavior. Thus the Given Existence of the natural world is considered the ultimate authority for human activity and behavior in general.

Wherein Moral Materialism is based in Consequential Negation, as no absolute prohibitions, Ethical Spirituality is based on Consequential Integrity as inherent consequence, wherein the innate consequence of natural entities are considered greater than the ability to substitute for them, with so-called superior states. Ethics as distinguished from Morality is the perspective wherein any given pre-existent state is considered of greater consequence and value than alternatives to it, even and especially when a detriment to the beneficiary of the change. Ethics wherein the emphasis is upon prohibitions is considered the opposite of Morality and Moral Materialism where the emphasis is on volition.

NECESSITY AND SUBSISTENCE: Necessity and Subsistence is the economic law of Conservative Spirituality and of all of nature, applicable to every known living entity accepting the human species. The results & products of activity & behavior are equivalent to the energy expended, as necessary to the preservation and maintenance of any given pre-existent or present state and standard of living or life style, in identical or near like form. Economic lifestyle as exampled by such as monastery living. In the strict sense, Necessity and Subsistence is the life style of the hunter-gatherer, but as practiced in progressive materialist and industrial societies may simply mean a simple lifestyle, with as few unnecessary commodities as possible.

Natural Affection is defined as sensory and emotional activity and response, as the direct sensory reaction to sensual stimulation, without the affects and alterations of the Dyadic Authoritative Comparative, wherein intellectual conceptions of consequence define sensory and emotional response. Natural Affection is sensory response that reflects the natural and direct affects upon the sensory apparatus, as opposed to the dictates of Consequential Value.

The social order of Conservative Spirituality follows on the concept of whole and the part. In terms of the whole every individual is considered as an aspect of spirit, and thus in terms of social relations, everyone is considered inherently equal. This equality may apply to both inanimate and all animate natural entities. Everything or everyone is unified in the spirit or the oneness of the whole. Since the whole depends upon the individual part, each individual is equivalent in inherent value and consequence. In terms of the part, each person is considered singular, individual, distinct, with their own character, temperament, abilities, faults, potentials and incapacities. Expectations of the individual are based on their inherent characteristics and preferences. Individuals assume roles rather than fixed identities. Roles as expectations of the community are assigned relative to innate ability, preference and in relationship to the needs of the community as a whole.
